lt is made out of 3mm steel sheet, covered with a protective heat-resistant paint coat, and it's intended far grilling faod on it (meat, fish, vegetables etc.) just in open spaces (outside). Because of the steel sheet thickness, you can use solid fuel and it wont bend or defarm.
